I am a Colorado native. I went to Catholic school for 9 years and Denver Christian High School.. I went to University of Northern Colorado with a Bachelor's in Psychology. I met my husband my senior year in college, got married, and moved to Hertfordshire, England a week after our wedding. I lived in England for 3 years, where I worked at a nursery school that David Beckham's niece and Ray Winston's daughter attended! My husband and I are huge Soccer fans, especially Arsenal Football Club and the Colorado Rapids. We have two beautiful boys named Bentlie and Charlie along with 4 chickens, one guinea pig, an English Bulldog,and a baby box turtle.

I have taught first grade for three years at Teller Elementary in Denver Public Schools. First grade is such an important and fun grade. We learn and grow so much over the year and I get to have a front row seat, what more can I ask for?
I am ecstatic to be apart of Ralph Moody Elementary School and I am excited to see your child develop and grow over the future years.

 I will be starting my 21st year of teaching, eleven of which have been at Ralph Moody. I have enjoyed teaching 5th grade science, social studies and math in the past. I love science and technology and ran the Science Fair for many years. I am excited to teach first grade this year and learning all that comes with teaching a new grade. While teaching in Missouri I taught many years of kindergarten and third and a few years of second and fourth grade. I graduated from Central Missouri State University with my bachelor’s degree and earned my masters in Curriculum and Technology in 2001. The year I earned my masters degree I also gained a husband followed by the birth of our daughter four years later. My husband and I loved to go camping and will enjoy it again when Zoe is older. My spare time is spent enjoying scrapbooking and crafts. I feel so lucky to have been able to work and share with the staff and parents at Ralph Moody because it is truly “A Great Place to be!!”

This is my 8th year teaching elementary school. I graduated from University of Central Florida in Orlando with a degree in Elementary Education and a minor in Psychology. I have taught Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grade. I have worked in Orlando, FL and North Las Vegas as well as Whitman Elementary and Ames Elementary. I am so happy to be at Ralph Moody Elementary teaching 1st grade. I love the staff and students here because it is such a warm community. The students are so caring, thoughtful and focused in and out of school. Outside of teaching, I love snowboarding, cycling, reading and playing with my dog, Poochie! I travel to visit my family and friends around the country and also welcome many visitors to Colorado that fly out to see me!
