I am very excited to start a new year at Ralph Moody. This is my fifth year teaching and I love it! I began teaching in the Elizabeth School District at Singing Hill Elementary teaching 3rd and 4th grade. Before that, I student taught at Lois Lenksi in Littleton in the 1st grade.

I received my Elementary Education License at Metropolitan State College of Denver. However, I have a Bachelors of Science degree in Communications from the University of Colorado at Denver as well as my MS in Curriculum Instruction and Assessment from Walden University.

I love the community here in Littleton. I grew up in the area and went to Lois Lenski Elementary, Powell Middle School and Arapahoe High School. I love spending time with my family, friends and my dog Jake. I am married to my best friend, Josh and we are expecting our first child in January....I look forward to the many wonderful years ahead of me at Ralph Moody.

This is my 6th year teaching elementary school. I graduated from University of Central Florida in Orlando with a degree in Elementary Education and a minor in Psychology. I have taught Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grade. I have worked in Orlando, FL and North Las Vegas as well as Whitman Elementary and Ames Elementary. I am so happy to be at Ralph Moody Elementary teaching 1st grade. I love the staff and students here because it is such a warm community. The students are so caring, thoughtful and focused in and out of school. Outside of teaching, I love snowboarding, cycling, reading and playing with my dog, Poochie! I travel to visit my family and friends around the country and also welcome many visitors to Colorado that fly out to see me!

 I was raised in Upper Montclair, New Jersey. My family enjoyed skiing, sailing, and camping. I was a competitive swimmer through high school and competed on the National level. The love of skiing drove me to Colorado, and I attended Temple Buell College here in Denver. I am married and have two grown daughters, Skyler and Kathryn. Skyler has a 14 month old boy, Holden, and Kathryn will be married in July.

Before children I taught in Aurora for eight years. I stayed home while the girls were very young. I have been with Littleton Public Schools for thirteen years. I have taught kindergarten through fourth grade. First grade is very dear to my heart. There is nothing like watching the flowers bloom. Here they mature into real students, and I never tire of watching. I feel so fortunate to be part of the Ralph Moody Community!
