 Ellen Dean

Even though this is my 19th year teaching in Littleton Public Schools, this is my first year at Ralph Moody Elementary. During that time, I have taught 3rd and 4th grades. After graduating in Communications from UC Santa Barbara, I was in the hotel sales industry before getting my teaching certificate and Masters in Curriculum and Instruction from UC Denver.

In my free time I love to exercise and cheer on my two favorite athletes. My son, Brian, is a junior at Pittsburg State University (KS) majoring in Communications, plays 3rd base for the baseball team, and is in the Army ROTC program. My daughter, Morgan, will be a freshman at Heritage High School this August, and can’t wait! She plays soccer for Littleton United and is looking forward to playing high school soccer.

I believe that all children can learn and they should have fun doing so! They need to take an active role in their own education. I am looking forward to working with the students, their families, and being a part of this warm and friendly community.

 Kathy Gleason

Kathy Gleason started in the fall of 2001 at Ralph Moody Elementary. Before arriving at Moody, she earned her undergraduate degree in Journalism/Public Relations from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska. She went on to work in the business world in both advertising and public relations. Her PR work included: the Henry Doorly Zoo in Omaha and Johnston Wells Public Relations in downtown Denver. She also worked in advertising at McClain Finlon Advertising in downtown Denver. Teaching was always something she wanted to do because she loves kids. Therefore, in the fall of 1999, she obtained her teaching certificate. Kathy Gleason is currently in her 5th year at Ralph Moody Elementary.
