Luz Centola - Cafeteria & Instructional

I was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA. My husband and I have been living in Littleton for about 10 years now and love it! We have four great kids, now at Heritage H.S., Euclid Middle School, and Ralph Moody, yes we are a very busy family, it has been a really positive experience being involved in the LPS School District. I enjoy supervising the children in the cafeteria( really, I do!), and now I am a para for the fifth grade teachers. I’ve been a parent volunteer for a very long time. I am a triathelete and look forward to the next one. We have two dogs, a hamster, and four crested geckos, want two of them?

I am a native of Colorado and have lived in the Littleton area for over thirty two years. I have raised two children (1 girl, 1 boy) that have attended Ralph Moody (then called South Elementary). Now my little granddaughter attends and is the third grade. After graduating from high school, I attended Colorado State University in Fort Collins. Through the years I have enjoyed many classes at Arapahoe Community College. I love to garden, read and spend as much time as I can weight graining, boxing, bike riding, hiking and snowshoeing. I am happy to find myself back at Ralph Moody!

 Wanda Kanne

I was born and raised in Denver. I went to college at Northeastern Junior College in Sterling, CO and graduated with an Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education. I then worked in day care and at a radio station. I married another Colorado native, we moved to Littleton 22 years ago, and we have two daughters. Both of them attended East, Euclid and Littleton High School. I started working for the district when my youngest entered first grade in l996. I have worked as an Instructional Parapro, Playground Parapro, Clerical Parapro, Library Parapro, and Resource Parapro. I work in Resource exclusively now and love being at Moody. After working at other schools, I know that this is where I hope to stay.

Growing up in the Littleton area I have always loved this exceptional community. While attending the University of Northern Colorado, I worked at the Boys and Girls Club of Greeley in the Education Department. After graduating with my Bachelors degree, I went full time as the Educational Program Coordinator for 3 years until I met my husband. I told him what a great place Littleton is and so we moved. After we had our daughter I started working as a teacher at the wonderful child care center Building Blocks. For the past 7 years I have worked with children from the ages of 6 weeks to 12 years of age. It was while I was working with the school age children that I learned about Ralph Moody. As our daughter was approaching Kindergarten age I would talk with parents whose children attended Moody, and after speaking with them it was an easy decision on where our child would go to school. Our daughter is now in third grade and I am fortunate enough to have started a new career here at Ralph Moody, where it is truly A GREAT PLACE to BE !!! In our spare time we love to go camping, fishing, rock climbing, canoeing, just being in the outdoors. I also enjoy taking pictures of our daughter who is a Brown Belt in Tae Kwan Do.

I am a Colorado native and have lived in Littleton for most of my life, where I attended South Elementary, Grant Junior High (yes, I’m that old) and Heritage High School. My two sons attend Ralph Moody Elementary and Euclid Middle School. I’ve volunteered in their classrooms and with PTO over the years, and when the opportunity arose to work at Ralph Moody as an Instructional Para, I was thrilled. I love working with the 1st, 2nd and 3rd grade teachers and their students!
