Hi, my name is BeckySue Boggs and I am the School Age Child Care Program and Preschool Manager here at Ralph Moody Elementary School. I have been in the child care field a very long time. I graduated from a program that is now called Teacher Cadet in 1978, the same time I graduated from Englewood High School. That’s right, I am a local girl. My first certification to teach in a child care setting was in Infants and Toddlers and I have been working my way up in age. Our program now accepts children from 3 years of age up to 14 years. I received my Directors Certification from the Colorado Department of Human Services in 1993. I worked as an assistant director for several years before taking on the position of director here at Ralph Moody in July of 1997. I am fortunate to be surrounded by many great mentors who are also my co workers. I enjoy learning something new from the children; they make everyday exciting and fun.

I have been involved in the Littleton community for 23 years. This is my fourth year at Ralph Moody Elementary. Prior to my current position, I was a Director and Preschool teacher at Building Blocks Enrichment Center. I am excited to be a part of the Early Childhood Program, as well as working with the school-age children in before and aftercare. My day consists of teaching children ages three through thirteen. I am from a family of eight children, and growing up with all my siblings has given me a foundation of flexibility, patience, and laughter!

I am a native of Colorado and grew up in Aurora and Littleton. I attended Ralph Moody, Euclid, Arapahoe Community College and now I am attending the University of Phoenix working on my Bachelor of Science in Education/Elementary. I first became involved at Moody working in the before and after school program. Now I am a full time preschool activity leader and I love every moment of it!! Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and my adorable son. As a family we enjoy sports all year round on the weekend.
