I feel very fortunate to have spent my entire career in a profession full of young, exuberant minds. Each day I can look forward to new situations and exciting new learning. There isn’t any other way I would rather spend my time than being with children as they learn about their world. At Ralph Moody I especially love our diverse community.

This will be my first year at Ralph Moody Elementary, but my 8th year in teaching! I was lucky to be welcomed into the Ralph Moody community after Whitman Elementary closed its doors last year. I love teaching children and being a part of their daily learning. Teaching is such a rewarding career for me.

Although I am a born and raised Midwest girl, my heart belongs in Colorado. I love the sunshine, the mountains and the active lifestyle. I met my husband the first year I moved here and have travelled all over the world with him. We have been to Africa, India, China, Thailand, Vietnam and the West Indies. I have GREAT stories to share with my class from my adventures! I also enjoy snowboarding, mountaineering, gardening, reading on my front porch with a cup of coffee – none of which I get to do since I have a one-year old son who keeps me quite busy.

I can’t wait for a fun year teaching third graders at Ralph Moody! Stop by Room 20 to say hello!
