 Doug Andrews - Principal

I was born and raised in the small, rural community of Olathe on the western slope of Colorado (it’s now “famous” for sweet corn). I attended Western State College in Gunnison, Colorado. I began my teaching career in Montrose, Colorado as a junior high school teacher. I also taught at the high school and coached high school football and baseball for many years. I was hired as the principal of Columbine Middle School (Montrose) in 1998 and after three years, moved to Douglas County. I came to Littleton as the principal of Ralph Moody in 2004. This is my 28th year in the education profession; seventeen years teaching and this will be my eleventh year as a school principal. I am so happy and proud to be at Ralph Moody Elementary School. It is truly, “A great place to be.”

I've been married to my wonderful wife, Gaylene, for 28 years. Our son, Riley, is a junior at the University of Colorado in Colorado Springs (UCCS).

Janis Douglas - Secretary to the Principal

I am the Secretary to the Principal at Ralph Moody Elementary. I have worked in the school setting at amany different levels…pre-school, elementary, middle school, and high school. I've found that I enjoy the challenge of the fast paced elementary school office and truly feel blessed to be working with the Ralph Moody staff and students. I appreciate the feeling of community at Ralph Moody and look forward to many years here. My husband and I are both Colorado natives and have three beautiful children. I love to be in the sunny, not snowy outdoors.  As a family we enjoy camping, four-wheeling ATV trips, boating, and traveling.

 Lauren Harriman - Secretary

I am almost a native of Colorado and grew up in Littleton. I attended Highland, Euclid, Heritage and Arapahoe Community College. I first became involved at Ralph Moody as a parent volunteer both in the classroom and in the library, before being hired as the Building Secretary. Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my wonderful husband, daughter and three Labrador retrievers. We spend a lot of time on the softball fields of Colorado watching our daughter play softball.
