Ralph Moody is a kindergarten through fifth grade school in Littleton, Colorado, a suburb of Denver, Colorado. Ralph Moody is a community of learners in which the staff and parents are dedicated to the education of the whole child. We pride ourselves in being the friendly "neighborhood school."

Child-centered teaching/learning is essential for academic success.
All children can achieve and should perform to their best ability.
The social/emotional needs of every child should be met.
There is strength in our diverse school community and that diversity is celebrated.
Students, parents, teachers, paraprofessional staff and administration should work together to meet the needs of the whole child.

Dear Parents/Guardians:

Welcome to Ralph Moody Elementary School. I am so proud to be the principal of this wonderful school community. This year we will continue our tradition of promoting the needs of children as our primary concern. We will maintain a warm, caring, positive, and receptive culture that provides each child the opportunity to reach his/her individual potential.

We believe that the ideal school is built upon a foundation of shared responsibility among staff, parents, children, and the community. Parents are welcomed and encouraged to visit the school and your child’s classroom. We want all children to be happy at school, involved in and responsible for their own learning, and respectful toward each other and adults.

We will continue our quest to improve the quality of education through the Professional Learning Community (PLC) Model. Our goal is to provide the best possible education for your children. The staff welcomes the chance to work with you and your children to provide them with a great experience while they are with us. Please feel free to contact your child’s teacher or me if you have questions or concerns.

Ralph Moody Elementary is truly a great place to be. Our entire staff cares about children and their education. Together, we will have another great year. I look forward to working with all of you.
